Colours, energy, and vibrancy: my own style and Viv’s work were a natural match!
Viv Bowra is a successful leadership coach who’s worked with MASSIVE household names.
But, if you’re planning on hiring her, don’t worry: you can trust her confidentiality. She didn’t spill the beans!
What she did mention, though, was having photos taken that didn’t really feel authentic, in the past. Because they didn’t look like her true self or weren’t aligned with her brand, the experience didn’t help her feel confident behind a camera.

introduce yourself and what you do
My name is Viv. I'm a leadership coach and workshop facilitator.
I help people develop their skills in lots of different areas like assertiveness, influencing, giving feedback, and building teams.
where have you come from today?
I've come from London, so it's also a night away from the kids.
(I can't tell them that, can I?) I LOVE THEM DEARLY, AND I’M MISSING THEM TERRIBLY! 😉
what were your biggest anxieties or worries leading up to the shoot?
I'm not that comfortable behind a camera, if I'm honest, and I always seem to take really dreadful photographs.
What I haven't liked about them in the past is that… it doesn't really look like me when I look back at them now.
Obviously, I am me, but for some reason, something's gone a bit wrong there. So, I felt that I never really wanted to share those photographs.
how did you prepare for the shoot?
I had a facial and got my nails done.
I also prepared for the shoot by thinking about what clothes I generally wear when I'm working with people, and I brought those with me. Clothes I feel comfortable in, too!
what do you specifically like about rosie’s work?
It's nice and bright and colourful! I'm really not someone who’s comfortable in black, for example, so that really appeals to me.
I love the colour of Rosie's work, the energy, and the vibrancy… and how I work is with lots of energy! So, that really feels aligned with what I do, how I am, and the clients I work with.
how was your experience?
My experience with Rosie was far more comfortable than I was expecting.
I'm really not comfortable behind the camera, and yet Rosie made it fun. And the results… I'm blown away by them!
I’m so glad Viv finally has some photos that actually look and feel like her! While they’re ready to be used on her socials, I bet they’ll look fantastic on her new website too as soon as it’s ready.
